This is one app every one will appreciate. “Backed Up” is designed and developed by Steve Miller Productions as a way to record and upload any event when it happens instantly. If you are assaulted in a bar or an alley or at home; if you were abused or there has been a case of household brutality, all you need to do is activate the Backed Up app and it does the rest. The app used the SmartPhone video and audio recording feature and shoots videos of the incident and then timestamps it and adds the location details. The next thing that it does is seamlessly uploads the videos and other details to a secure server along with the co-ordinates and the time stamp of the event. Once the details are stored the culprit has nowhere to run to or hide. The data can be retrieved from any location as it is sent via email to the email accounts that you assign. You can download them and hand over to law enforcement agencies which make to track down the criminal. Even if your phone is stolen or destroyed, the data remains secure in the server and mailed to you without issues. The latest version which is 1.3 has an important update. Just in case the server transfer of the video and record are unsuccessful, the last frame of the video is automatically updated with the time and co-ordinates of the action so that a record is kept of the incident.
