I’m a firm believer that technology should replace our more outdated habits. With the introduction of cloud backups, technology is now much more likely to be there for us, and safely too! This latest iPad app I’ve reviewed does just this, it helps you declutter your desk and frees space by converting the physical to the digital. Now, that’s not always a good thing, but in this case I bet it is.
ideaBoost is, as I said, an iPad app that helps you digitalize and organize. It’s a creative tool that is basically a whiteboard which you can attach a lot of sticky notes to. And because it’s a whiteboard that wants to mimic reality, you are in full control regarding how it looks like, where you want to paste a quick note (and what color it will have, and what content it will display, and so on), and just about everything else.
And not only does it mimic reality, but ideaBoost improves it. With it, you can insert a PDF file and have it as a background – then, you can add your handwritten notes, as well as the ever-present sticky notes, all over the document. So, not quite like a real whiteboard, but better!
All in all, if you are the type of person that has to brainstorm a lot, or if you’re looking for a creative new way to visualize your ideas, ideaBoost is the perfect way to do that. Cheap (only $4.99 in the App Store) and effective, a great recommendation for iPad users.
